Questions to Answer

Q: What factors made you want to start your own blog?

A: I'm not really sure what the thought process was? I suppose I've watched a lot of Youtubers, in particular beauty, fashion ones. I'm a little camera shy, so that wasn't really an option for me, but I've recently become a much more "can do" person and wanted to create something of my own, so a blog seemed like a natural decision.

Q: Have/are you attended events for bloggers?

A: No I've not, I'm still pretty new to the game, but I'd love to be introduced to some. If any readers have any suggestions, please let me know!

Q: Have you met any international bloggers?

A: No, not in person yet, considering the answer to the second question. But I have spoken to a couple, it's great to get a different outlook and learn about different cultures.

Q: What way do you release stress?

A: Multiple ways. I go to the gym frequently, I lost a lot of weight over the last five years or so and I discovered a love for it. Plus in the words of Elle Woods: "Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't shoot their husbands." Also, if I'm stressed, it's probably because of some imminent deadline, so I've started trying to identify procrastination and do something about it.

Q: What is the best unexpected moment you can't forget?

A: Perhaps finding out I was going to become a sister. My parents are divorced and I was an only child, so I thought, that's it, the solo life for me. But then my dad had two other children when I was nine and thirteen. I adore children and I love my siblings beyond anything. They make boring days out much more eventful and I'm so happy they're around.

Q: Do you know any Korean celebrities?

A: Eh, Psy?

Q: What kind of music do you like?

A: I like music that has meaning, or tells some kind of story, and the genre that mostly follows that formula, is country. I adore the Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and of course Taylor Swift. I even love her new pop album 1989, for me it doesn't matter if there's a banjo in there or not, it's whether it makes me sob like a baby, under the duvet with a tub of Half Baked. 

Q: Where would you go if you got one week leave?

A: Either Orlando or New York! I absolutely love the theme parks at Orlando and the sunshine, but recently I've been getting a real wanderlust for New York. I went when I was six (three weeks before 9/11, yikes) and I would love to experience it as an adult, a little more Macy's and a little less toy store!

Q: What's your favourite perfume?

A: I don't really have a particular favourite one, but I like Wonderstruck and Daisy Dream

Q: What's your favourite brand of cosmetic?

A: If it's not already obvious, it's MAC! I used to be a Clinique loyalist, but transferred over perhaps two years ago.

Q: What's your favourite skincare product?

A: I love, love, love Face B4 facewash and serum. I bought them after seeing a tv advert and having a look at some amazing reviews. The facewash makes my combination skin, clear of oil but not stripped in dryer areas. Also, the serum really gets into the skin, not sit on the top layer like some others do.
